Kozasa is a popular sushi restaurant that is always fully booked.
Its popularity is also known for its difficulty in getting reservations.
In this article, we will introduce you to Kosasa.
Kosasa’s location and atmosphere

Kozasa is a sushi restaurant located about a 4-minute walk from Shinsen Station on the Keio Inokashira Line and about an 11-minute walk from Shibuya Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line, in a secluded location behind a private house.
When you step into the restaurant, you will find only nine counter seats, creating a simple but relaxing atmosphere.
The restaurant is only open from 6:00 p.m. onwards, but it is open until 11:00 p.m., so it is easy to drop by after work.
The charm of Kosasa
At Kozasa, the owner, Mr. Sasaki, personally purchases the highest quality fresh fish from Tsukiji and uses it in his sushi.
The types of ingredients used are carefully selected, so there is not an abundance of variety, but the prices are reasonable for Edomae Sushi in the city center.
The owner’s skillful and delicate craftsmanship gives the sushi its original flavor, and we hope you will enjoy it.
Kosasa’s Recommended Menu
We recommend the omakase course (22,000 yen per person, tax included), which is available upon request.
The course consists of 5 snacks and 11 types of nigiri and maki, which are carefully selected from Tsukiji and offer a full range of high-quality ingredients.

Kozasa
The food was better in Shinsen than in Shimbashi.
I’d like to go back here. https://t.co/p3zWtRvQwhpic.twitter.com/LfAewa9npQ& mdash; Akito (@Akito8868) February 14, 2018
Well, last night was a complete rest day! We did some shopping in the evening, and went to a sushi restaurant called “Kozasa” in Shinsen for dinner.
I really enjoyed the conger eel and shiitake mushroom roll. So, I’m off to Osaka now! Thank you very much for your support. pic.twitter.com/p7vcHzEB— MASANORI MORITA (STUDIO APARTMENT) (@Studio_Apt_MM) October 11, 2012
