Shigeru Uchida, the first interior designer to be awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon, has produced a total of 16 rooms at the Gyokuhokan.

While carefully preserving the tradition of Gyokuhokan, which was established in 1926, the hotel has adopted an innovative design based on the color black to express “the ultimate in relaxation.

The most recommended room is the detached guest room with open-air bath. There are four rooms in total, each with a living room, two bedrooms, and an outdoor bath.

By opening the doors separating the living room, bedroom, and bath, you can create a space filled with the warmth of wood and a sense of openness that will make you want to take a deep breath even though you are indoors.
