This is the first time I’ve ever been to a hotel in Japan.
The view from the open-air bath is particularly spectacular, and you can fully enjoy the natural beauty of Matsushima.
By train, it takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Tokyo Station via the Tohoku Shinkansen Line, and about 1 hour from Sendai Airport via the Sendai Airport Access Line.

The “Asahimi no Yu” (20 groups per day, 2,000 yen per bath including tax) is a private open-air bath where you can enjoy the view of the small islands floating in the moonlight all to yourself.
