In this article, I will introduce “Mahina Glamping Spa Village” from Izu, Shizuoka Prefecture.
It’s a new glamping facility that just opened in Higashi-Izu in August 2017.
The location, attractions, rooms, and food are listed here, so please refer to it.
Location of Mahina Glamping Spa Village
Mahina Glamping Spa Village is a resort facility with a Hawaiian style motif, meaning “moon in the night sky” in Hawaiian.
The resort offers a full range of services, including glamping, dining, hot springs, and lodging, so both outdoor and indoor enthusiasts can enjoy themselves.
By train, it takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes from Tokyo via Shinkansen, and about 3 hours from Nagoya via Shinkansen.
The location overlooking the ocean offers an extraordinary space where you can fully enjoy glamping in a natural environment with a different atmosphere each season.
The charm of Mahina Glamping Spa Village
At Mahina, we have adopted a new style of camping that allows you to experience the outdoors and feel nature while still receiving luxurious hotel-grade services.
There is no need to prepare any materials or equipment for meals, so anyone can enjoy casual camping and BBQ.
After you’ve had your fill of fun, you can spend the rest of the day in the comfort of your own cabin, where the facilities, service, and interior design have been carefully designed to rejuvenate you.
Rooms at Mahina Glamping Spa Village
Eleven types of luxury cabins are available on the property, including Ole Ekahi, Elua, Ecol, Eha, Elima, Eono, Ehik, Ewal, Eiva, and Umi.
Each cabin is equipped with a luxury sofa, Simmons bed, and toilet, so you will be able to enjoy a comfortable life without any inconvenience.
Near the cabins, there is a panoramic platform from which you can view the surrounding scenery, four private outdoor baths, and an indoor terrace with footbaths and hammocks, so you will be able to rejuvenate your spirits.
Cuisine at Mahina Glamping Spa Village
You can savor a sumptuous dinner menu freshly grilled using a special BBQ stove set up in the tent.
The ingredients used include thick-cut 1-pound steaks, juicy pork wieners, local Izu seafood, and Mahina’s special soup served after the appetizers.
Many of the menu items have a robust flavor, so they go well with alcoholic beverages such as beer and wine, which are essential for BBQ.
