This is a hot spring inn “Teitei Enon Chikane” which is the successor of “Kagoto” which was established in the Edo period.

The inn was loved by many literary figures and dignitaries, including Ikku Juppensha, Masuji Ibuse, and Siebold.

By Shinkansen, it takes about 1 hour and 5 minutes from Shin-Osaka, 1 hour and 30 minutes from Hakata, and 3 hours and 35 minutes from Tokyo to reach the nearest station, JR Fukuyama Station, from where you can take a local bus or a cab.

From there, you can take a bus or a taxi to the nearest station, where you can relax your senses and forget the hustle and bustle of daily life while enjoying the magnificent view of the Seto Inland Sea.

Two types of hot spring water are available free of charge at Otoon-Konon, one by “Hae~Nanpu~” and the other by “Kachi~East Wind~”, both of which contain high quality natural radium and spring up in the famous “Tomonoura” of the Seto Inland Sea National Park.

It contains one of the highest levels of radium in Japan, and is expected to be effective in treating a wide range of symptoms and problems, such as neuralgia, muscle pain, and improved health.

You can also take advantage of the hot spring tour services of our sister hotels, Ofutei and Keishokan, so you can enjoy a different atmosphere from that of Tohon-Konon.

We propose dishes using fresh seafood caught from the Seto Inland Sea that spreads out in front of us.
