It is located at the heart of the Kamakura Highway that connects Matsumoto in Shinshu to Hida Takayama, and is the gateway to Kamikochi.
As the name of the ryokan implies, the food, hot springs, and guest rooms are designed in a style unique to Shiori-e so that guests can look back on their trip as a bookmark.
By bus, it takes about 65 minutes from Matsumoto Bus Terminal in Nagano or 90 minutes from Takayama Nobi Bus Center in Gifu, and it takes about 5 minutes on foot after getting off at Sawando Bus Terminal.
It is located in the middle of Kamikochi, Yarimohodaka, Norikura Kogen, Shirakone Onsen, and Okuhida Onsenkyo, making it the perfect place for sightseeing.

At Keisei-so Shiori-e, you can enjoy the famous “Sawando Onsen” hot spring, which was drawn from the Nakanoyu district in 1998.
It is a weakly alkaline, hypotonic hot spring that is gentle on the skin and warms the body to its core.
The large “cave bath” inside the rock tunnel is one of Shiori-e’s special features.

A total of eight rooms are available, including a first floor room with a private open-air bath and a second floor room with a view of the Azusa River.

We propose kaiseki cuisine using ingredients that have been blessed with the local bounty that Shinshu Matsumoto is famous for.
From the kaiseki dishes, you can choose from a total of four main dishes, including “Seared Shinshu Beef” and “Grilled Shrimp and Scallops”.
For an additional fee, you can also taste Hida beef, a famous brand from Hida, Gifu Prefecture.
