Since the first year of the Meiji Era (1868), Sumidaira has been a hot spring inn with an ocean view in every room.

It is a hybrid of the old and the new, and has been renovated over the years.

It takes about 50 minutes by bus from JR Mishima Station to Izu Hakone Railway or Shuzenji Station to Toda.

At Majin Onsen Sumidaira, you can enjoy a hot spring bath called “Senshizuku no Yu”, which has a long history with Majin.

In particular, the private bath building offers four different types of hot springs: “Miyama no Yu,” “Hina no Yu,” “Sumi no Yu,” and “Tsukimi no Yu.

Sumidaira offers two types of detached rooms, “Kazenone” and “Naminone”, and four new types of detached rooms, “Tsukinoe”, “Hoshinoe”, “Hosenone” and “Kinoe”.

The two types of detached rooms are cool rooms where you can feel the sound of the wind and waves, and the four types of detached rooms are rooms with a unique world view inspired by words that express the charm of Mahito.

The restaurant proposes dishes that lavishly use seasonal seafood that varies from season to season.

The menu is rich in variety, including red sea urchin, rock oysters, abalone, nodoguro and onyokose.

Sumihei’s top recommendation is the manganese crab, a seasonal seafood that can only be eaten at certain times of the year.
